Tell it to The World
The Tell it to the World action was designed for the Vodafone 360 launch. Since this product focuses on people and social networks, Waskman carried out an action where Vodafone’s employees were the physical channel for showing the messages users sent from different social networks. This helped promote Vodafone 360 values, a product which brings together social networks whose epicentre are the people that form them.
Involved in the action were 600 of the company’s workers who, wearing shirts with letters, created the phrases the users sent from Facebook, Twitter, the website or by sms. This human alphabet met in front of the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid and was broadcast live on the Internet. More than 7,500 phrases were received from users and over 450 messages recreated live by Vodafone employees, sent in streaming, photographed and uploaded to Flickr, while hundreds of others flooded the event’s website arriving from Facebook, Twitter, sms and the event website itself.
