During the month of January 2007, we attended the needs of the Italian textile brand to introduce them with a campaign of their latest underwear under the name Diesel-Heidies. We produced the physical and technological elements to recreate an online BIGBROTHER where the new women’s and men’s underwear models will be introduced to the world. Three models joined in one set, constantly filmed and broadcasted in real time. This will give viewers the chance to interact via chat. The script came to show the daily adventures of two model aspirants, willing to get their 15 megabytes of fame; that kidnapped the firm’s webmaster and held him hostage for 5 days in a hotel room of a European capital. The capture was broadcasted by a streaming through a complex video-capture system developed by waskman. The result was a successful campaign with very high viewer participation in blogs, chats, websites and graphic media. From waskman we thank the help and participation of those who collaborated in the making of this project, especially those who worked as runners in the desperate search of the props, and above all, a special thanks to ZGor from Irontec, that because of bad luck was hospitalized during the last week of hard work.
