Ni
The collaboration between Alvaro Rey from Waskman and José MarÃa Jimeno with the purpose of generating a practical industrial consumer design, gave as a result this prototype of stool, simple, pile upable and functional. Something taken as a premise for this design was the possibility of changing the use for this sophisticated seat. The plastic, by means of rotomoldeado process allowed us to considerably lower their price. It was produced in families of different colors and would be destined to public consumption as a gift element. Ni, had to be used to seat, to have rest comfortably and it should also be able to balance which would add a relaxing nature to its practical function. The stool responds to the needs consumer demand to have small furniture objects but having similar functions to the big ones, though; something that modern design searches in every new proposals. Beyond the aesthetic value of this product, we should also watch it like an answer to current home furnishing realities : its reduced size. The fundamental concept of Ni is its character as a present and the possibility of balance while you are thinking.
