Amalur, “mother earth” in Euskera (Basque language), is a small park still in project , to be located in the center of  Donosti - San Sebastian, next to a church whose author is Rafael Moneo. The central axis is a pool conceived as an alive being, which will react to  the walkers presence, and with greater intensity when being closer. This way, it pretends an interactivity between the energy of the thoughts people have, and the appearance of waves on the water. This pool will also generate fake fog in a random way, which working together with the use of water and vegetation, will be a way to build a perfect scenery for serenity, pacification and a invitation to passers-by to reflect. To resume, Amalur is conceived as an environment which allows citizens to avoid the daily routine and stress, meeting again with nature, peace and contemplation benefits.
